Sending a request does not create a confirmed booking. Geo Expedition CR reviews availability and replies by email or WhatsApp with the proposal, final price and confirmation steps. Nothing is charged on this website.
Rates & deposits
Tour rates are shown in USD with taxes and fees included. The optional private supplement is $230 per booking. Transport and entry tickets are included only where stated on the page or proposal. The Costa Rica Photo Tour is quoted individually. Birding is $4,640 per person and Ecuador $5,800 per person; Ecuador’s single room supplement is $500.
Birding and Ecuador require a nonrefundable $1,000 deposit. The Birding balance is due 30 days before departure and Ecuador’s balance 90 days before. Payments are arranged directly after reviewing and accepting the proposal; this site has no checkout or online charges.
Cancellation policy · tours
- Cancellations made 5 days or more in advance: no charge.
- Cancellations made between 4 and 3 days prior: 50% refund of the reservation.
- Cancellations made 2 days or less before the tour: no refund.
- Early departures or late arrivals: no refund.
- No-show: no refund for the tour.
Cancellation policy · expeditions
- Cancellations made 60 days or more before the start of the photography tour: no additional charge.
- Cancellations made between 59 and 30 days prior: 50% refund of the reservation, except for the initial deposit paid.
- Cancellations made 29 days or less before the photography tour: no refund.
- Early departures or late arrivals: no refund on the written reservation.
- No-show: no refund for the reservation.
Responsibility & photography
Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Weather, safety or park conditions may require itinerary adjustments. Travelers are responsible for their documents and travel insurance. Original photographs may not be reproduced without written permission.
